KitchenAid celebrates the Canadian launch of the Pro Line ® Series with a unique design event
In early April, KitchenAid Canada hosted an event at the Toronto Spoke Club to introduce Canadian media and designers to the Pro Line Series, our newest line of premium countertop appliances.
The event was an interactive afternoon with a number of stations that showcased the premium design and functionality of the Pro Line Series.
The main attraction of the event was the Pro Line Series vignettes designed by interior designer Shai DeLuca. Each vignette was inspired by one of the four Pro Line Series appliance colours: Frosted Pearl was decorated in a wedding theme, Onyx Black inspired the quintessential little black dress decor, Candy Apple Red had an 80’s pop art feel and Medallion Silver was deconstructed and raw.
In addition to the vignettes, guests also had the opportunity to see the appliances in action and learn about the specific uses of each appliance.
At the interactive food prep station guests learned how to make a Mediterranean White Bean Salad using the new 16-Cup Food Processor with commercial style dicing. Guests were amazed by the speed at which the food processor was able to slice and dice the vegetables with professional-style results. The White Bean Salad was a huge hit. It would be an excellent dish to serve at your next party! (See recipe below).
The final area of the event showcased the entire Pro Line Series suite in our signature Candy Apple Red colour. Here guests were able to see the complete Pro Line Series line-up: The 7 Qt. Bowl Lift Stand Mixer, 16-Cup Food Processor with Commercial-Style Dicing, 4 and 2-Slice Automatic Toaster, 5-Speed Cordless Hand Blender and the Electric Kettle.
